There isn't anything negative that I can say about Atria Oakridge. It is fantastic. I could not have asked for a better place for my dad to have been since he moved in. They have always been very responsive. They are very caring and kind. The staff during COVID most definitely put their seniors first and were very responsive to finding ways for families to be able to communicate and even see each other in a way that was abiding by what the protocols were. I was very impressed with that. They took things very seriously about cleaning and screening people when COVID was happening. They've been fantastic. They've got so many activities outside of just the typical day-to-day. They have great activities from Bible study to different events where they have a small van that takes people out. It could be something where they see the symphony and they also take people to doctor's appointments and grocery stores on certain days. The food is very good. We're lucky to have the chef that we have. He's doing a fantastic job. If it weren't for my dad's health declining, I think my goal would have been to keep my dad at Atria Oakridge because he's so happy there. They had a movie party recently, and it was just really fun. The price is fair. I think that it's the going market rate. I feel like we're getting the value for the money that we're paying.

My mother sold her house and moved into Atria Oakridge while waiting for construction to finish on Atria Cary. The wonderful staff at Oakridge made her feel so welcome immediately, and after just a few weeks she decided to stay at Oakridge. My mom would tell me stories about all of the activities, and never had a bad word to say about any of the staff. She would constantly talk about how kind they were and how they went out of their way for her, and when I would come visit i felt like I knew them as well. I live a few states away and it was such a comfort to me to know that she was taken care of. [name removed] and her team have created such a warm, cozy environment that truly does feel like a family. I cant recommend Oakridge enough, and suggest anyone looking for a senior living facilty look into this place. And just know that when you do the tour, the staff isn't just acting friendly because you are on a tour, they are honestly always like that!

First of all when visiting Atria Oakridge during the past 4-5 years to visit my brother and sister in law. It was tippy top. That is why we decided to make the move from Huntington Beach Ca. Well, it could not be more different. Fine dining was served at all meals, and [name removed]was the chef at that time. You were led to your table by a Lovely lady named [name removed] to enjoy a sumptuois meal. Today, today a different situation. For instance, was served cold chicken wings, prior to my soup, which was nice and hot. No condiments for the wings or crudites. The two critical servers in the dining were just termidated. We will never know why because their is a failed line of communication with the executive director. We are discouraged to be familial with employes. The objective here is to listen to the residents when we speak our peace, not to tell us that the info we need to know is the truth. The only saving grace is the Engage Life Group.

Atria Oakridge was very pleasant, very nice, open, and welcoming, and has plenty of yard space or outdoor space. They have good parking. It's very nice. They have a library and a beauty salon. They have transportation available; you just book ahead of time. They try to utilize as much space as they can, in the apartments and put as many in a building as they can. I understand that it's business and money. The staff was great. I don't mind the long hallways; it makes good exercise. It may not be intentional, but at least it's there. They've got elevators, a beauty shop, and all the accoutrements that you would want.
