My sister and I took a tour of Celebration Villa of South Hills on 11/28/23 for my mother who was being discharged from the hospital. My sister and I took a tour of Celebration Villa of South Hills on 11/28/23 for my mother who was being discharged from the hospital. This was just for a short term stay to have my mom adjust from hospital to home. The facility was just ok as it is an older facility, but the staff and residents were very friendly. I was impressed with the fact that many of the staff members have been there 20 plus years. My mother decided she just wanted to go home and receive her therapy there. I still wanted to write a review as Roberta, Sales and Marketing Director, took the time to show us the facility and to explain everything we needed to know regarding the care my mom would receive. Roberta even provided us with a social worker contact at the hospital my mom was at as we were having a difficult time getting someone from the hospital to call us back. She was very understanding, and we felt at ease about the whole process as it is a very stressful and difficult decision for family members to make. I am giving this review 4 stars because I can only base my review at this time on the interaction with Roberta, the staff and the tour itself.

We picked this community because, It appeared very clean, had an "at home" feel to it , not a hospital feel. Also, the location was convenient for myself and my family. Also. it was the price.
Mom and her children are very happy. Mom said it feels like home and her style. Based on the experience we have had so far with Celebration Villa of South Hills, we would absolutely recommend them to other families.
They seem to always be short-staffed, which is unfortunate but happening across the board everywhere. There is a lot of staff changeover. My understanding is that the residents should be eating in the dining area but end up eating in their room because there's not enough staff. The staff that are...
They seem to always be short-staffed, which is unfortunate but happening across the board everywhere. There is a lot of staff changeover. My understanding is that the residents should be eating in the dining area but end up eating in their room because there's not enough staff. The staff that are there are friendly. The care is mostly good. I just have to stay on top of it.
Read moreIt's a good place. They offer a lot of activities that kept my loved one busy. They do seem to be understaffed. My loved one like the food and the variety of meals.
