Terrible place to put a loved one. My mother was moved here for rehabilitation from the hospital. After only one week of being here, my mother had a bed sore. I moved her promptly out on day 9 because the conditions were so bad there. Staff would leave her without a call light on the bed pan for over 40 minutes and frequently would leave her otherwise without any call light for hours. At the time she was just out of the hospital and was unable to do anything for herself and the only limb movement she had were her hands, which only slightly worked. If she asked them to brush her teeth or comb her hair, they would sometimes tell her they didn''t have time so she would go for 2 days without basic hygiene like teeth brushing. They would not come when she needed to use the bathroom and instead told her to go in her diaper. She is only 64 years old and never wore depends before she went there. They are not only incredibly neglectful of residents, they are also verbally abusive to them. They would verbally berate and make my mother feel small for needing help with things. For instance, they would make statements to other staff that "they didn''t like that woman" in front of my mother. Or they would say angrily, what do you want now? Or, you can do that yourself, you just don''t want to, when asked for basic help. When I confronted them about their treatment of my mother, they tried to tell me that these things weren''t happening. Then after they finished talking with me, they went to her and tried to gaslight her and told her she had better stop telling me. Even the staff who is administration, covers for the caregiving staff who is being abusive or neglectful to residents. I was able to get my mother out of there after only 9 days of being there but I worry what''s happening to the residents who cannot speak up for themselves or have no one to tell. Also the facility is very very old and They did not keep the place up according to health codes. It is altogether an awful, neglectful place that needs to be shut down. I really do not know how they''re still open. Please do not send your loved one here!!!!!

A horrible place to leave your loved ones. My mom was there for 2 weeks for rehab. I found her twice with call light on and no help coming. She never received a shower. And how many times can a person be made to eat soup and sandwiches? I visited my mother in law in the assisted living end and seen a woman stand up from her wheelchair and fall down. It took 3 mins for person at nurse station to check on her. They eventually called an ambulance for her.

Nice staff but did not smell very nice. One of my pet peeves about nursing homes.
The place looked very homey and my mom was happy to be living there
