I have been very pleased with the care my husband has received at Berks Heim. The staff seems very well trained, compassionate and attend to his needs. He has been frequently evaluated and decisions have been made on changes and additions to his care. I feel very fortunate he is there.

Dr Brackbill at the County of Berks Berks Heim Nursing Home in Berks County, Pa. should be imprisoned. He absolutely refuses to follow the Reading Hospital’s treatment plan that they gave for my mom. He must be the most incompetent arrogant pathetic “doctor” in the world. This is a reoccurring problem, where the hospital gets my mom back to reasonable health only to have Dr Brackbill at the Heim fail in her care giving, thus continually having to have mom sent back into the hospital for emergency care. Why, doesn’t the hospital have the authority to report this doctor’s incompetency and negligence??
