My mother needed long-term care after experiencing a fall about six months ago. The hospital social worker suggested we consider Bethesda Health and Rehabilitation Center. The reviews for BHRC from several years ago were not good, but the BHRC Admissions Director assured me that the new management and nursing staff that has been in place for the past year and a half have greatly improved conditions there. Everything he said about BHRC has proven true. In early September 2020, my mother moved to BHRC, and we have been very happy with the care she has been receiving there, especially during the enormous challenges posed by the Covid pandemic. The staff is extremely responsive. Calls or emails are answered almost immediately, and each resident is assigned an Ambassador who coordinates the resident’s care and serves as a liaison with family members. The social work and business office staff are also very helpful and responsive, and we receive frequent email communications from the staff on conditions at the facility. My mother is now in hospice care at BHRC, so I have been able to visit her there often for short periods of time and can see, first-hand, the good care she is receiving. The facility, which is located on what was once a lovely estate, is always very clean and neat, and everyone I have encountered on my visits has been competent and has made me feel welcome. We couldn’t be happier with the long-term care my mother is receiving at BHRC and recommend it to anyone seeking long-term care for a loved-one.

My stay at Bethesda Health & Rehab Center was AMAZING!! I was admitted on September 4th, 2020 and discharged on May 28, 2021. During this time, Bethesda Health & Rehab clinical staff healed my foot wound, controlled my Diabetes and High Blood pressure. I enjoyed helping the staff, establishing relationships with the residents and assisting in the Activity Department. I would recommend that if anyone is looking for a reliable nursing facility with a great clinical staff, Bethesda Health & Rehab Center is the place for you or your loved one.
