Staff has been very responsive to me regarding the progress of my loved one since his arrival at the nursing center.
My visit on 9/12 was great. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean. The atmosphere was tranquil. I found my love one in a restful state. He appeared not to be in pain. The staff gave me an update of his day. Everyone wished me a pleasant evening when I left.

My family was desperate and wanted to find the right place for Richard. A place where our loved one would feel comfortable and ready to begin his healing process. Well, we got it wrong at the first place he was in for six days. He was not eating, was in pain and wanted to just lay in bed. But , we have it right this time. The first day he was here, he was smiling , eating and lifting his legs. When we saw how happy he was, we knew he was comfortable and his healing is being. We as a family had a good night sleep, yes he is in good hands. I have to say ..... Angie Baldwin Johnson is a blessing , she managed to start the wheels rolling and assisted with his transfer. Also, Kudos to the van driver who delivered him to Autumn Lake. Thank you All!!! The Harris Family

My experience (stay) at this facility was not a pleasant experience from day 1. Most of the staff was unprofessional. Some would your room and not introduce themselves at all. Some seem not to work at all, more training is needed or new staff who want to work and take their job seriously. I have more to say but would rather address those concerns to an administrator, which I''m having a problem reaching. V.Murray Update: I received a call from Elissa Hect, the Administrator for Autumn Lake Acute Care. I am very appreciative that she reached out to me, offering her apology and concern for my lost clothing. She assured me that everything possible will be done to either locate my missing clothed or I can receive reimbursement for all lost items. Thank you so much. I also want to thank the staff members that made my stay there beneficial to my recovery. Vernell Murray
