I am horrified that my mom was taken there seemingly to die. She had a broken arm that she had surgery on, and she is 86. She is not mentally tough and is easily talked into things by others. I am horrified that my mom was taken there seemingly to die. She had a broken arm that she had surgery on, and she is 86. She is not mentally tough and is easily talked into things by others. She has been like that her whole life. She had surgery at Tampa General and I THOUGHT she was going to come home to rehab her arm, but someone talked her into going to a rehab facility, and my heart sank. I knew that she will probably not come home. When I visited her, I was very upset that she allowed someone to talk her into a rehab facility. I begged and pleaded with her to come home, because when I was there, she said she had pee''d all over herself and she asked to get up to change and the nurse yelled at her. I just about lost it after that and had to be told by a nurse to either calm down or leave, and I said ok. Then, a very self righteous (head nurse) came in and asked her if she wanted me to leave, and she insinuated that she wanted my mom to say yes. To my utter disbelief, my mother said yes, and I felt more betrayed than I ever have. I then refused and pleaded with my mom to tell her to let me stay and it''s almost like she had been brainwashed. I did not know this person anymore, and I knew her for 55 years. I could not believe what was happening and was horrified when I was being escorted out by the self righteous head nurse! When I tried to call the facility later that day, they had blocked my phone number. Then I tried to call my mom and she will not answer the phone. They said I was not allowed there anymore or they would call the police. She still has not called me or will not anwser her phone. I feel like she is being abused and brainwashed. I always knew that the rehab facility is the next step before hospice, and they basically program their mind to die. That is what is being done to her. I could have easily rehabbed her arm at home or let Select Physical Therapy rehab her arm. They do not want me to talk her into leaving I do believe. I will be filing a lawsuit for sure. This is so wrong, I am in tears as I write. Something has to be done.

Zero stars! missed appointments for the patient which could be detrimental, persistent falls & UTIs, taking belongings and giving them away to other people without contacting the POA or family member. If you ask a question they will take you around in circles so be prepared. No compassion or empath...

Zero stars! missed appointments for the patient which could be detrimental, persistent falls & UTIs, taking belongings and giving them away to other people without contacting the POA or family member. If you ask a question they will take you around in circles so be prepared. No compassion or empathy from the business staff. Business office does not want to give the patient''s money to you they will ignore you and not answer your emails. Be persistent. All I say is beware of your loved one my loved one will never be the same life is over for my family member thanks to them.

I want to thank my doctor, nurses, and CNA’s for the wonderful care I received from this facility. They were all professional and caring. I highly recommend this facility. Thank you.
