I didn't go out there and look at it, but I saw green grass. We were looking for a place that would accept dogs, and they did accept little dogs. The person during the tour was very nice, outgoing, and informative.

I was very impressed with Carson Valley Senior Living. We've seen the assisted living and the memory care wing and all the staff were phenomenal. The place was very clean. It's in a rural setting, so it's not like in a city. It's more of a home-like setting than perhaps some of the others that we would find. It's very appropriate or as close as we can get for my father to be home.

I saw Carson Valley Senior Living two days ago, and I liked it a lot. I liked the friendliness of it. I liked the small-town nature of it. I liked the fact that there's room for walking outdoors there, and one of the best features is the beautiful view of Jobs peak. The staff, Rosa, is very knowledgeable, very competent, and very helpful. She took all the time I needed. It's just really good. I toured the main parts of it: the dining room, reception rooms, and the veranda. I found them all acceptable.

I toured Carson Valley Senior Living. It's super nice. It's nice. It's always clean and the people are happy there. The families are happy with the staff. They like the food. They have a room there for watching TV, they're talking and visiting family and making puzzles and stuff. I like it because it's a small community, so you know pretty much a lot of people and just word of mouth knowing that they take good care of their clients that they're safe there.

Carson Valley Senior Living was very, very nice; but without them taking Medicaid, eventually I'm going to run out of money in a year from now. I don't want to be moving my husband someplace else. The second issue that I had with them was they open up the doors for visitation at 9:00 a.m. and close them promptly at 5 p.m. So, there's no way my kids would ever be able to visit their father, but the place was wonderful. Their menu was excellent. They have two different choices at each meal. There's always coffee, tea, juice, and stuff. I thought it was an excellent facility, very clean, and very neat. The staff that I saw working with the residents was very good. I would give that a nice high recommendation. They were so helpful, nice, kind, and friendly. It's an older building, but everything's on one floor, so that's good. They had an outdoor area for people with Alzheimer's to walk out, which was nice. The rooms were more than adequate.
