Q: Does Cedar Lake Assisted Living & Memory Care accept Medicare or Medicaid?

Medicare and Medicaid programs are excellent ways for many families to pay for medical care. However, Cedar Lake is not licensed to provide skilled nursing care. Medicaid and Medicare are not eligible forms of payment for many incoming residents due to the nature of Cedar Lake’s care.

When a resident uses a Medicaid waiver to pay for long-term care, it does not pay for room and board. The program pays for the cost of care, but families are responsible for additional fees.

I would highly recommend them. It's just a great community. It's personable and welcoming. We picked this community, because it was close to my home, and smaller.

The staff are very friendly. I would tell other families, to consider Cedar Lake. It's a smaller community and they have plenty of options for activities. My mom loves the food !!
