I’m a physician on vacation and found myself in ED. I was treated promptly, correctly, professionally, and by people who seemed happy to be there. Facility was clean and up to date. Dr Fox was on call in ED and took excellent care of me.
Sat in waiting room for 4 hours with signs of a miscarriage. Nurses were sitting around eating food and talking when I finally Got behind the waiting room. No help was offered or given. Sanford is definitely much better

OMG And I thought Sanford was bad ? (Which it is) but this place makes Sanford look like John''s Hopkins. I went there because the care at Sanford seemed sub-par. It was exceedingly sllllow at CHI. The doc I saw gave me a drug I was warned shouldn''t be used due to recent bone graft. I was treated in the ER from a wheelchair in an otherwise empty room. I was there for a lower back issue, how do you treat from a wheelchair ? The Doc never checked on me to see if the ineffective med had worked. I have been in medicine myself for 25 years and where I''m from these docs would be sanctioned and the place would be shuttered and made into a freaking TGI Fridays. Thank the Lord I''m moving soon! Doc was uncaring, silly (almost comically so) treatment facilities, poor follow up, and abysmal communication.

I had insurance bill should be paid in full but they had a third party doing billing and they keep getting it wrong and CHI says they can’t help me with it. Really my services were done through you and you can’t help me. Not sure what is going on there it’s like they are a pieced together hospital with out of state employees. I won’t be back.

The worst hospital experience of my life. The front receptionist was extremely frustrating and cut me off while trying to tell her what was wrong. Then proceeded to be extremely rude to my boyfriend as well as me. Once brought back to our room, the first Iv attempt was painful as she just moved it around to try and find the correct spot? She then proceeded to poke me a second time and it remained painful until I asked to get it removed. It wasn’t removed for a solid thirty minutes after pushing the nurses button. Hospital did not seem very clean and we asked to get discharged with pain.
