Such a pleasant, clean, loving home for our precious family! Staff express humor and affection for residents as they care for them. Residents are respected. Thank you for your tremendous dedication!!
Lol, the nurses should really be wearing their masks if they''re going to hound guests about wearing them. I can post pics if you like.. hey, we''re all in this together, right?
I know several family members who had love ones at this community and they were so grateful for the care and attention they received. Also knowing several staff here gives me peace of mind every time I need to make a referral to a skilled nursing community. All the upgrades are looking beautiful as...

Also knowing several staff here gives me peace of mind every time I need to make a referral to a skilled nursing community. All the upgrades are looking beautiful as well as the exterior of the community with the updated flowerbeds! Perfect for summer!

Stay FAR AWAY from this place unless you want to put your life at risk or be traumatized. I was here after spine surgery and it was a nightmare. First thing was call buttons that don''t work so it was several HOURS before I could get anyone to help me. An aide questioned why I used a commode (because doctor''s orders!!! Who are they to question this at all?) and then told me that it was better for me to wear a diaper and wait for someone to clean me up empty my commode! They were **3 hours late** with critical medication, which I only got because I complained. (and only because someone walked by my room and I shouted because the call button was broken again) After that they doubled up my some medication so I was over medicated and falsified record of giving me another one that they didn''t give me at all. I asked the nurse what medication they were giving me and they could not even tell me. They expected me to just take the cup of pills and trust them. After what they did? No way! I started taking pictures of the medication they gave me so I would have a time stamp document and the nurse LAUGHED AT ME and told me I was ridiculous. They served me a food that I was allergic to and labeled it as being safe for me to eat. Staff complained to me that they had too many patients and that they had never worked in that facility before - as if that was my fault. I was so unsafe there that I chose to leave and they made me sign an AMA document because they would not even contact my doctor to arrange from transfer. This place should be shut down. It was also filthy dirty and reeked of mold. I took pictures and they are disgusting - splashes of who knows what on the walls and curtains, corroded rusty equipment and broken falling apart window blinds.

Colonial has taken care of several family members and gave the greatest care. They treated them and my family so well and were so a accommodating to us. DeAngela and the nursing staff were always so kind and did not hesitate to answer our needs as family or for the family members there. One thing my dad and I agreed on is it did not “smell” like a nursing home when we were there. Many activities for the patients and great care. I highly recommend!!
