My mother was placed at this rehab with the help and support of the Vistas Hospice Nurse that had her case at the time. My mother was at another rehab in Cape Coral where she was transferred to for my personal convenience as I take care of her, who suffered a brain aneurysm and my father who has advanced dementia and between the two and a full-time job the travel to FM was too much. What a HUGE mistake, within a few weeks she went from a minor bedsore that was almost healed to 3 plus Grade 4 pressure ulcers with severely damaged skin & the surrounding tissue started to die. It was horrible & heart wrenching anyway I was able to move her to "Coral Trace" and although she was not there very long because she ended up with Sepsis for other reasons, I can tell you that the treatment, care and attention that she and our family received was next to exceptional. She started to thrive, she received daily wound care and 1time a week debridement and within almost a month her bedsores were 70% better. She was interacting and socializing a lot more and the CNA''s there are amazing and loving. My mom is at home with me now on Hospice comfort care and doing better, but if I had to put her back into a nursing home it would be Coral trace. Thank you to everyone there from the front desk all the way to the cleaning crew!! My mom has been to 5 nursing homes during her journey and this place and one in Fort Myers out of over 25 in the area are the only ones I would choose for my loved one!!If I could give 10 Stars I would!!
Read moreI have to say that until now my grandmother has been treated very well with a lot of love and respect, they do everything necessary for her health and care, all the nurses and staff are very attentive, without a doubt, God put us in a good place, thank you all.🙏🙏
Recent changes has had an improved effect on patients/clients/residents. Especially in office and dining room/kitchen. Congrats to the new chef

This place is a joke! Called at 930-10 am to ask my mothers nurse about my mother and how she was doing, end of day today and no phone call back. I just called around 9:15 to speak to my mother and I heard the man put the phone down and started to talk to someone in the background about something completely different. My grandmother called got the same man and he stated that she wasn’t sleeping but resting comfortably, okay if she is just resting why can we not speak to her? This is a horrible experience already and she has only been there for two days!

This place is amazing! I have dealt with a few rehabilitation facilities over the years, and this place is, hands down, the best. Their changes have really improved the facility all around, patients and employees are all a lot happier than they were before, and the amenities and welcoming atmosphere really help the patients heal. They include family in the healing process as well, and are extremely attentive to their patients needs. All around a great place to heal.
