Franke At Seaside's level of care is excellent. My parents were both in the independent and assisted living. They have many activities, and the meals were also excellent.

Worked here and felt it was a waste of my time. Some of the co-workers were rude and of course it was okay with the head nurse cause she was there friend more then anything. Worked here and felt it was a waste of my time. Some of the co-workers were rude and of course it was okay with the head nurse cause she was there friend more then anything. I''ve got pushed to my limit and had to leave this place. I''ve seen residents here being mistreated. Sitting in wet diapers a lot and not be properly dressed or groomed for the next shift. The only time i''ve seen staff here really take care of the residents is when they knew the family was coming in to visit.

Franke Home at Seaside is a Lutheran run facility. I toured the independent living. It's very nice. It's got ample acreage. They have cottages and apartments, and I was looking into the apartment. The apartments have designated parking underneath the building, which is nice. It's real convenient because you can walk to the main area, the commercial area right from there that has all the shops and restaurants, and everything you would want access to. Those are the high features and by going to a monthly rental plan, that's well within my budget. I was very impressed with the staff. The other thing is they just added on to their main building where they have all the amenities, resstaurants, and everything else. It was updated during this pandemic, and it is really better than I thought it was than it was before. The rooms are very ample. The particular apartment that I'm looking at has two bedrooms, a sunroom, a good-sized living room, a very nice kitchen, and the two baths. It's quite nice, and it overlooks a very nice wooded area and large ponds. It is a nice place. They just upgraded the dining area. It's a very nice dining room, and then they have off to the side a pub where you can gather for happy hours and things like that. It looks good. I saw the monthly menu. It looked very nice and very varied. They have a plan in which they give you so many meal dollars per month to spend, so you have all kinds of flexibility. If you want to just eat a breakfast one day and dinner the next, or breakfast and dinner the same day, you just use this allotment. It's pretty much boils down until you get 30 days at $8 a day.
