Disappointing overall. PT and OT staff were great. Avoid the rest if it all possible.

My experience is really good visiting my family member. Front staff is always professional, polite and caring. On unit staff continues to give their very best although they do seem to be very short staffed especially on the weekends. Nursing staff and the CNA''s are personable and giving, always with a smile. Only 4 stars because on unit staff numbers do need to be increased, they do patient care, pass out food and all the other many responsibilities. The recreational services and social work services are also worth mentioning and giving a big shout-out to. I would recommend Future Care Homewood to someone who needs the services. I am very happy that my family member is at Homewood Future Care Thank you!

I’ve been visiting for over a year now, and the water handle for the hot water is still falling off. And the water flow is slow for what should be hot water. In addition, they must be using cold water only because that’s the only thing that has been coming out of either faucet every time I turn it on to clean my relative’s ears which are always clogged with wax buildup. I hate to place an ice cold cloth on his face and scalp, I realize that each staff person is doing the work of 3-4 people, and the nurses are overwhelmed with taking vitals and assisting with transfers from stretchers and giving out meds.. in spite of the shortcomings, I have noticed an improvement in the staff, and they are doing the best they can under the circumstances.
