It was a hard decision when my mom who suffers from dementia had to enter a nursing home for her safety. The nursing staff from C. Walton, Corry and TJ were comforting and attentive to my mom. She received great care. Amy, the social worker went above and beyond to help us.

If you care about your loved ones DO NOT SEND THEM HERE!!! My grandfather was brought to this facility in December and we picked him up yesterday and since the time he has been in the facility his health has rapidly declined. He was neglected severely. My grandfather requested on multiple times to have the COVID booster shot and they gave him the run around and refused to give it to him. When we were able to visit him his bed was covered in dried blood that look like it had been there for a while and his blankets were Urine soaked and had urine stains. Additionally his room had little brown bugs all over it. The ceiling in his room and all over the facility had debris falling from the ceiling. My grandfather was not given his proper medication which resulted in the decline of his health when we asked about the administering of his medications they said they had no documentation because they only document certain narcotics. On top of the neglect the staff is extremely unprofessional, when my grandfathers nurse opened his medicine cart there were cigars all in the cart which is a direct violation. Once we picked him up from the facility we took him directly to the hospital to give him a full examination to determine the severity of the neglect and I will be taking this evidence to DHEC. This place needs to be shut down

This place is terrible. My father in law had a stroke on their watch and we told them something wasn’t right because we were on the phone with him and he was slurring his words and the nurse kept telling us that he was fine and everything was fine. We drove straight to him and when we got there his left side of his face was dropping and he had no control over it. We put him in the car and took him directly to the hospital. When we got to the hospital not only did we find out that he in fact did have a stroke and the facility didn’t do anything about it but also that my father in law had tested positive for COVID but he also had an infection that had spread throughout his whole body because they failed to properly treat him. Do not be fooled by the Google reviews this place has consistently been getting fined by the government for its poor performance and treatment of residents and they will never tell you the truth because they are desperate for money.
