I was at granite Mesa for rehab due to a spinal cord injury. The nurses, the staff especially the girls that changed me, bathed me, and the therapist were amazing people. They treated me like family. When I left I had to have a Hoyer lift and CV ouldnt afford all of what it cost. Granite Mesa pitched in so I could be moved safely at home and they taught my boys how to care for me. Thank you for the excellent care! I miss yall all so much!

My father has been there going on 4 days. He has not been given a shower, has been wearing the same socks since he arrived, hasn’t been offered anything to drink other then tea that is brought for his meals, no hand soap in his bathroom, the wheelchair that was provided is dirty and has not been cleaned, he buzzes to go to the bathroom and no one shows up which forces him to wet the bed. The list can goes on. This establishment should be closed down and reported to the state as I will do! My dad is very aware of what is going on. He is there for PT, not to rot and die! Looking to transfer him out ASAP! The situation is heartbreaking. Very disappointed!

It has been quite a few years ago that our family was forced to put my mom in a facility. She was hard to lift and she did have some dementia and needed special care. At first when I would go to see her, she would cry and want me to take her home and I would cry as well and it was very hard. However I remembered how much she like to laugh and so when I would visit her, I tried to not talk about home but just funny things about our family and it helped a lot. The Lord really gave us a blessing with her being there after a while her dementia got worse and she like to sing very loud. One day I walked in and I could hear her singing all the way down the hall. It made me smile and cry at the same time. When I got to the nurses station they told me that that''s what makes her happy and so they just let her sing. I knew then she was in good hands. I don''t know if I will get to see my parents in heaven or if I will know them, but I am very Blessed and I was fortunate to have them. I hope one day before I die, that I can show someone the love they gave me. My prayers are with you people in the facility now, and that they may have the same kind of wonderful caring people my mom was with. May God bless and keep you all, in Jesus name. Just an added note, I looked at some of the other reviews that are very negative and I hope that the facility has not completely had some issues that cannot be resolved since it was the best facility I''ve seen and it never smelled with any bad odors. It is the only facility I''ve ever been in that did not smell.
