We moved our mom here 1 1/2 years ago. The ladies and this facility are amazing. We would recommend them to anyone with a family member that has dementia. They treat everyone with dignity and respect. They have 24/7 care. They truly care for the residents in their care.

We went to Hacienda Living. It was dark on the inside. And then they had a lot of gravel around the facility. So for assisted living clients who have mobility things like my mom, my mom has MS, and that wasn't going to be safe for her. The gravel was slipping and moving and she can get around, but she needs to get around with either a cane or a walker. So that wasn't going to be safe. The staff was nice. Raul was great. He was a sweetheart. For my parents who are still active, that wasn't going to be a good fit at all. It looks like they cater to clients' needs. However, it was dark there. The lighting wasn't good in the dining area. For clients who need to see and move and see what they were eating, it was dark. I don't know if that's good for eating purposes, and for clients to know what they're getting. They have little things that you can do around the house, but it's not like they have any activities that a person is coming in or somebody to help them, and that's all based on what the client may want to do around the house. So they would just sit and watch TV all day.

My mom and I toured Hacienda Living while looking for a place to move my dad who had late stage Alzheimer’s. From the moment we walked in we loved it there. It smelled like home cooked food and just felt homey. You could tell Raul and Mirian really cared about the people they cared for. My dad spent his last days there and the care that he received was wonderful. He was laughing and smiling and you could tell he was at peace. We are forever grateful to Mirian and Raul for making my dads last days so wonderful.
