Home Helpers Home Care of Larimer County has been with me now for almost two years and I really appreciate their assistance. They do a great job and it's like somebody from your own family comes to visit you and they're so close and so articulate in the assistance they serve you with. Much appreciated. I look forward to the close relationship that develops with people who are providing assistance that is much needed in terms of your improvement in your health and welfare. They really work closely with physical improvement. On my part, that's very important, learning how to walk (for instance) in terms of their overall assessment and practice with different methodologies of walking. Their scheduling is flexible if something comes up and you need to change something. I have three different people working with me from that company and they all seem to be learning from each other and communicating with each other as to things that work with giving you assistance. They're very articulate. As far as their line of operation that they have, it's flexible and offers opportunity for change and gives support to other people who may be members of the family that need indirect kind of assistance from them. They also offer flexibility in that way.

As a caregiver, Camryn is the best cleaner I’ve had, and she is also very fast, a rare combination. In addition, she is cheerful, supportive, caring, reliable and honest. She is a problem solver. But the most unusual talent she has is that she is a whiz on a computer and iPhone. She can do anything!!! At 95 I am not teachable in that area, but she valiantly tried over and over again. She always arrived at the appointed time and let me know ahead of time when she needed to change her time with me. She loves to work to her favorite music. I enjoyed the singers she chose, and now have more variety in what I listen to. I always looked forward to her coming to my home.

There were many challenges I faced after my hand surgery since I'm in a wheelchair. The homecare staff was well trained in using the Hoyer Lift to help me with my transfers. I always felt safe and appreciated the communication we had before each transfer. I also needed assistance preparing meals and making sure my work-from-home schedule was not interrupted. My two older cats have specific dietary requirements. Both of them were happy campers with their meals every day. The trash was always emptied and there were never dirty dishes in the sink. Home Helpers provided stellar care during the 3 month period of my recovery. I truly feel they became my second family. I never had to worry they would not show up on time or return my phone calls. It was especially nice to have the same caregiver every day. We established a wonderful relationship on a personal level. Thank you so much for your professionalism!

My mother is using Preferred Care at Home. They help with cooking, cleaning, helping her get around, mobility, and helping her bathe. The caregivers are caring and conscientious. I'm satisfied. We don't have daily contact with her caregivers, but we have a website we can go on, we can see who her people are, they leave notes about what's going on, and I also have text with the owner, and another one of the people. If I ever have any questions or any concerns, I can text them, and they text right back.
