I toured several places, and I like Hospitality House the best so far. They had a better way of treating me. They had a better setup. They were open more and available for the different requirements of the seniors. I thought they had a better attitude all the way around and felt less corporate. Their staff was very understanding and seemed to have a better outlook on the whole thing than other places. The residents had the availability to bring their own furniture if they chose, so that was good. And it's the only place among those I visited that did that. They had a salon, a courtyard, and that normal sort of thing.

I toured Hospitality House, but it was definitely not as informative. It is not as nice, but it would suit their needs. If I had to put my mother there, I wouldn't feel bad about it. But, of course, you always want the best for your parents. I think the other place had more activities than they had there. All of the rooms were like shared rooms, like my mother would have a roommate. They had beds and a dresser for each patient. The staff member who took me around was friendly and helpful, but not as helpful. The layout was not as good. In all fairness, they're doing reconstruction right now.
