This was absolutely 💯 % the worse nursing home I''ve ever worked at. It''s dirty, unorganized, the residents get neglected, their lunch orders are wrong and when you report it cook didn''t care, someone broke the shower so they don''t have to get showers, nursing staff didn''t know much of what was going on about outsiders coming in for work they just leave you to figure it out yourself or pass it on to another worker who''s already busy, residents crying out for help to only be ignored, slave driving, and disrespectful of hard working, caring, outside companies trying to help. The entry way is a swarm of mosquitos, you have to wait while getting bit till they open a door from front desk when it''s early, I''ve been told this was a bad place for many many years but I still gave them a chance but they proved the horror to be true of themselves. I would stay far away from this nightmare with your family members as I saw and heard this all going on with my very own eyes & ears! The only nice workers were aids Kevin, Angela, Valerie, the new nurse, the residents were so sweet mostly too I loved them all. I as well also wonder if staff peeps get paid to write good reviews for their businesses as I saw at another company happening once.

The staff here are very rude rufusing to help eachother or a resident they walk away when they see a call light on and when they dont want to do something the CNA will get a NA and make them do it wile they dissappear also most of the staff their are always complaining about their jobs in the hallway and not doing any work last but not least I feel like this company picks who they like and their other staff are treated unfairly.... My biggest issue is they DISCRIMINATE AGINST PREGNANT WOMEN

I am a traveling nurse with 51 years in the healthcare industry and have been doing long term care nursing in multiple regions of the U.S. for the past 10 years among other specialties such as covid response nursing. I would rate Ladera Center in the top 5 of the many facilities I have worked in. The Administration as well as the nursing administration is extremely supportive of the resident care and equally important they are supportive of the nursing staff. Without a supported nursing staff, especially the CNAs, you can not provide adequate care for the residents. The CNAs take pride in their relationships with the residents and it is reflected in both their work ethics and patient care delivery. The Certified Medial Aides are on point and demonstrate excellent competency in the administration and knowledge of medications. The staff nurses are receptive and helpful to the traveling nurses here. To say that is an unusual situation is an understatement. The nursing administration is pro-active in dealing with difficult situations and they definitely support their staff. There are minimal skin issues, which is a gold standard to judge the quality overall care and treatment of the residents. It was a most refreshing surprise to start work in a well run facility.
