I have had the pleasure of working with Rachel and the Luther Manor Hospice staff on a professional level for 4 years. They have always been professional and answered any questions I''ve had promptly. I have and would recommend them to anybody needing to use their services for a loved one.

My sister was deeply depressed and attempted suicide. She was admitted to St Frances Ascension located on 13th and Oklahoma. During the time she was there, she was not responding to medications and the situation was so bad that we tried something called E.C.T., which is basically a type of electric shock therapy. The therapy worked, but left her with a deep memory loss. None of the family could stay with her during her recovery, but we found that the Lutheran Manor had a program called "The Bridge" which turned out to be a nicely furnished efficiency apartment on the same floor of the nursing staff. My sister was monitored by the staff who also monitored the pills she was taking. After 4 weeks at Lutheran Manor and "The Bridge Program", I am happy to say my sister is now back at home taking care of herself, and here memory has mostly returned. The program was designed for people who needed a place to stay while the decision was made to either go home, or go to assisted living. To my knowledge, there is not another program like this in the city. I give it 5 starts on everything. Food, Accommodations, and care. H.L.

My mother lived for 12 years at the LM Terrace, independent apts. She loved the people and staff there! They provide such a variety of activities available for those with different interests, opportunities for residents to gather or participate. During CoVid, they were conservative in practice and provided good communication to residents and family. Whenever I have contacted them with questions, I always received follow up to my satisfaction - a very caring group with best interest of the residents at heart!
