My dad has been a resident here for almost 2 years. The staff are usually very nice. The problems i have seen are- call bells aren''t answered in a timely fashion, nursing doesn''t communicate with family like they should. For example, my mom lives almost an hour away, they no i bring her to visit every Thursday, they didn''t bother to tell her about an apt so we drove all the way there to see him and he wasn''t there. Example 2 we visited on Thursday, my mom got a phone call the next day from a doctor that had just seen my dad. She wasn''t told about the apt. My dad doesn''t understand most of what doctors say so my mom goes to explain. The doctor told him he has cancer but my mom wasn''t there so he shut down. You don''t send a confused patient to an apt like that without proper notification of the responsible person! They complain about being short staffed but continue to except new patients. Therefore care is declining!
