My grandpa was at Aperion for around 2 months. He had pressure ulcers that were poorly taken care of. The staff aloud it to get so bad you can smell it. My mom took him to the hospital all the while the staff was saying he didn''t need to go and he would be fine. He was immediately admitted and we found out the nerosis is all the way to the bone. He is now facing apputtation. its a state funded care facility with too many patients, not enough staff and someone is up there making loads of money off our tax dollars. This is the worst care i have ever seen! No stars desered!!

I would carry my cousin caps and t-shirts but they were never there when I or a family member visited. Around May 8 I took 5 new peices of attire to him. I would carry my cousin caps and t-shirts but they were never there when I or a family member visited. Around May 8 I took 5 new peices of attire to him. I returned a week later and was told that I couldn''t see him because of a covid outbreak. He passed on June 8. I went with his daughter on the 10th to collect his possessions and the items were not there.We were given a big bag of items that were supposed to be his. Everything had someone else''s name on it. The items included a cap and t-shirt with the Southern Illinois University logo and a cap, t-shirt, and hoodie with the Baltimore Ravens logo.Supervisors say they have no idea what happened to the items which means that the workers are allowed to roam like scavengers preying on the defenseless. I have pictures of my cousin with the items and I will seek restitution. Do I start with the staff that brought him out and left with the items in hand or administrators? This is not over.
