UPDATE: On top of the state of the building the facility incorrectly informed the Hospice company that my family member had passed so we got the call of the news. A little over an hour later they called to tell us it was a mistake and they had her confused with another resident.

There are so many issues there. I am so very disappointed. I truly had high hopes. The day staff is amazing. The overnight and weekends are HORRIBLE. I am so upset. I''ve tried my.best to not make a full complaint that might affect someone''s job and livelihood- but this is my loved one. I am literally sick with it right now. The simplest thing? Have someone answer the phone so that if there is an urgent situation in which a loved one has to call their family members- It can at least be addressed.

The staff are very caring and have been placed in positions where they can demonstrate and excel by sharing their given talents. From Dietary, HK & Laundry to Social, Business Office Manager to the Administrator- this staff cares about their residents and all of their families. My aunt stayed here after suffering a stroke. She cant move and barly can speak right and she could hardly ever get help. The therapy was fine but the nurse and and staff would walk by her door ignoring her calls for help for something as simple as to be helped to bed or to be moved over or something that dont take much effort to do. It seems the weekend staff was the worst tho. Working in a place like this is not a hard job. People who come to theese places need critical help. They are completely helpless. And its sad that they(not everyone)can''t even put in a little effort to help the patients
