My 90 year old Dad was treated at the Remington for about a month following his fall and hip surgery. The facility is very nice and the staff are very competent, warm and caring. The Therapy Team under Tessa was great, with Thomas Yi, my Dad''s Physical Therapist, primarily being responsible for Dad being able to walk with his walker again. Thomas also shared a lot of his knowledge, which has helped in my Dad''s recovery. Honorable mention is John, Dad''s primary OT. Under Christina , ADON, on the Nursing side we had a terrific CNA/ nursing tech Teresa Dillard, no relation, who took great pride in providing top notched care. and keeping Dad clean, shaved and ready for Therapy each day. Teresa always went that extra mile. Working with Margaret and other RNs, the nursing Techs which deserve recognition are Emmanuel, Metike and Carmen for taking great care of my Dad those late hours when he needed care. We are very grateful for the Remington Team''s Professional Nursing and Rehab care for my Dad!

The glowing reports is not what our family experienced from this facility. MIL was moved here after a fall. She developed large bed sore even though we were told they were checking. Pain meds were changed to as needed without notice for her even though she has dementia and non responsive is noted...

The glowing reports is not what our family experienced from this facility. MIL was moved here after a fall. She developed large bed sore even though we were told they were checking. Pain meds were changed to as needed without notice for her even though she has dementia and non responsive is noted in the med records. Loss use of her right arm over night and no investigation was ever done to determine why. Only after family insistence that an MRI be done was it ordered. On duty nurses and PTs are good. It feels like the supervisory level is where the apathy or incompetence lives. And yes, someone from our family was there multiple hours each day. You have to have an advocate for your family member.
