I visited Prairie Meadows Alzheimer's Special Care Center and it seemed like they were so awesome. I was so impressed with them. They had activities for everybody. They were kind and everybody knew everybody there. It was an awesome place. I was there when they were feeding them, and their food looked wonderful. The people seemed very happy. The administrator went through there and knew everybody's name and tried to make everybody happy. He just was amazing. Prairie Meadows was kind of like in a circle so they could go outside. It was set up nicely. When the weather was good, they could go in and out anytime they wanted to. It was marvelous.

Few places, have staff which have longivity at one location. Walking into the facility, the staff great you and assist to not only your loved ones needs, but also yours. The staff display love, respect and dignity to those who they care for. I was very impressed with the care that the residents received. The facility offers a variety of activities and functions for residents and families to enjoy. The management team is always available to assist and address with any issues. I would highly recommend this facility to any one looking for a facility for their loved one.

My tour of Prairie Meadows Alzheimer's Special Care Center was very nice. They have different options for the rooms depending on what you wanted or what you wanted to pay for, not that they might be available at the time. The facility was very clean, nice, and well-maintained. Some of the rooms had a shared bathroom, some were individual, and in some of them you could have two persons in a room, and they were all nice. I glanced at the dining room area, it was nice and clean. The staff that I met was very nice. They explained that based on the level of care needed, the price would fluctuate a little bit, so if someone needed extended care or a continuum of care, that would cost more than someone who requires less care. Overall, it was a nice facility.

My husband moved into Prairie Meadows Alzheimer's Special Care Center. The experience has been excellent. I had an emergency surgery done, and they have been more than cordial in telling him what's going on, what happened, and everything. So in my mind, that's good care. His room is excellent. It has two big beds in it. I ate breakfast and lunch with him, and both were excellent. My husband has been cared for, and his memory is being stimulated somewhat. I can't find any complaints. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained.
