Valley Pointe Nursing Home was incredibly kind and supportive of my family while we had a family member in their care. Staff was generous with their time and support; when we needed to consider longer term accommodations, staff were extremely helpful and shared options and helped us determine next steps. When my father''s health worsened staff ensured we could be present the whole time and supported our family as we grieved. Families in need of long term care are already stressed and worried and Valley Pointe helps shoulder that burden through a difficult time. We are really grateful for the care my father received there and for the support of all the staff at Valley Pointe.

My sister was placed here for rehab (walking). During her visit I asked them several times and even had a note on the closet door stating that "family would wash clothing". That was not good enough. I seen one patient with my sister''s pants on and took a picture of it. I gave this information to the head nurse. She informed me that they would look for her clothing. I told them I did not want them back instead reimburse me for them. After her release and two months later I still have not been reimbursed. I sending them a copy of a receipt for several items, not exactly what was misplaced, but something that she can wear. Let''s see how long this will take.

Sending my mom to a skilled nursing facility, after a three week hospitalization event, was a difficult choice that we made as a family. I’m grateful that we found Valley Pointe. Roció, Admissions Director, answered all my questions and addressed my anxieties about sending my mom to Valley Pointe. Her staff was caring, patient and talented. They helped my mom regain her strength and movement which was very limited after the hospitalization. In particular we will forever be grateful to Elizabeth (RN), Bianca (PT) and the young OT my mom called La güerita. They helped my mom in her native language (Spanish). Thanks for taking care of our most treasured gift, our momma.

I had 2 strokes in the beginning of the year the hospital sent me to this facility to recover and get rehabilitation treatment the staff didn''t helped with hygiene they didn''t even changed my diaper I was sharing a room with 4 senior citizens I saw their private parts skinned because the staff members weren''t charged their diapers all day that place is a nightmare please don''t send your love ones there the staff member''s serve the food if the patients don''t eat it after 30 minutes they take it away from senior citizens have serious health issues they can''t eat by themselves they need help eating they don''t help them by feeding them I stayed there 2 months it was like a prison they don''t even changed the beds people don''t shower I lived there I know they abuse seniors but they take advantage because they are mentally gone and they forget but I''m mentally ok I can describe what happens in there behind closed doors
