i was a patient there for 3 and half months earlier this year in the evans unit short term rehab. 99% of the LPNS, CNAs etc were awesome despite being overworked and understaffed most of the time. they really care about their patients. The business office is another story. I was treated like i was doing something wrong by being there from the very first time i met one of the staff from the business office, It was obvious from the person''s body language and facial expressions. They judged me without knowing anything about me or my background. When i got a letter i did not understand and left a message for them, i literally am still waiting for them to acknowledge the call and i have been home since end of july. They dont explain the financial part of being there very well at all and they came across as condencending to say the least. I have doubts about ever going back there not because of the actual caregivers but because of how i was treated by the business office employee. just fyi... i have been to other nursing homes in my area after surgeries in the past.,
