My parents picked Rice Estate. They are independent but really enjoyed the fact that there is 24/7 nursing staff available. The apartments have high ceilings and are a great value for the space. The dining staff are so helpful and kind! The food was fantastic as well! We have not seen the activities but the calendar was full of things to do. The housekeeping staff really keep all areas clean. There is a wonderful library, activity room and a chapel. Rice Estate is faith based and has services every Sunday. It is more like a home and a family setting than an institution.

The facility is clean, spacious, and relatively new. He really appreciated the large single room! They constantly had things for residents to do and participate in. If you''re looking a nice place to recover, this is one of the nicest places around and it was VA approved :)
