My Father arrived today after a horrible one night stay at another facility. This place has it together! Friendly staff, the room is clean and the staff makes the patient feel comfortable and takes care of their needs right away. Thank you, Bridget, Sue and Gina!
HEADS UP. The patients at VOMPA do not have laundry service. HEADS UP. The patients at VOMPA do not have laundry service. There is no washer and dryer available apparently and family members are carting the dirty, stained clothing of their loved ones home several times a week and returning the clothes clean and folded--THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A YEAR AND A HALF! I tried to get to the bottom of this but two emails and two phone calls and two messages yielded no response. I plan to alert Medi-Cal, the local newspaper, and local government officials. This is unacceptable. ENOUGH!
