As a Resident Assistant (CNA) at Spring Arbor of Salisbury Senior Living, I''ve had the privilege of working alongside an exceptional team dedicated to providing top-notch care to our residents. From the director to fellow team members, everyone plays their role with skill and dedication, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. One of the standout aspects of working here is the excellent leadership provided by our Director. Their commitment to the well-being of both residents and staff is evident in the way they ensure that our facility operates smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, the ongoing in-services offered are not only informative but also engaging and relevant to our daily responsibilities, allowing us to continuously improve our skills and knowledge. The activities provided for our residents are truly endless, catering to a variety of interests and preferences. It''s heartwarming to see our residents enjoy themselves and remain active and engaged in the community. However, I must express some concerns about the direction in which the facility is heading. While I initially chose assisted living to move away from the physically demanding nature of long-term care, I''ve noticed a shift in the care level of the clientele we''re now accommodating. The increasing physical demands of the workload are beginning to resemble those of long-term care, which is causing some strain. Recently, I submitted a request for a change in schedule due to the physical toll of the workload. If it is deemed necessary to accommodate such clientele, I strongly advocate for the provision of proper equipment to make safe transfers and assist with the increased physical demands. This would not only ensure the safety of both residents and staff but also alleviate some of the strain on floor staff. While I still value and enjoy my work here, I hope that the facility will consider addressing these concerns to ensure that both staff and residents continue to receive the best possible care. Overall, Spring Arbor of Salisbury Senior Living remains a wonderful place to work, thanks to its dedicated team, excellent leadership, and vibrant community. I look forward to seeing how the facility addresses these concerns and continues to provide exceptional care to our residents.
