About 2 1/2 years ago, I needed to place my aunt (who is like a mom to me) in an assisted living facility. My aunt grew up and lived in Suffolk, VA all of her life. At age 81, after a severe stroke, I had to take her out of her home where she lived all of her adult life, and bring her to Maryland. I wanted to make sure she was close by so I could ensure she was being taken care of and treated properly. I searched a lot of assisted living facilities near my home and didn't like any of them. Then I was referred to Springtime Home. I contacted Mrs. Robb to see when I could visit Springtime Home located at 12506 Chalford Drive, in Bowie, MD. She told me I could go right over at that very moment, if I wanted. When my foot touched the doorway, I knew this was the place for my aunt. I felt as though I was home. The place was spotless. I did not smell urine or any smell that one usually smells when visiting an assisted living facility or nursing home. The staff was friendly and showed me around. The staff consists of two ladies. I immediately contacted Mrs. Robb and told her I wanted my aunt to stay here. My aunt was a little nervous at first because she didn't know what to expect. When I moved her in, although she was a little nervous, the two ladies made her feel right at home. I went to visit my aunt every day for the first two weeks, at different times. Each time I showed up, the place was ALWAYS SPOTLESS AND SMELLING GOOD. They feed the residents very well. The food is not instant food that you just add water to and heat up. These women really know how to throw down in the kitchen. There has been many times that I have wanted to pull up a chair and stay for dinner. I have actually asked them for some of their recipes. Two and a half years later, my aunt absolutely loves Springtime Home. It's like her second family. Since my aunt has been at Springtime Home, I see a huge difference in her. Her stroke left her without her speech but the staff is so great with her, she has actual learned to communicate in other ways. Springtime Home has daily activities for the residents. Because of these activities, my aunt is learning how to play games and starting to say a word or two at times. If you are looking for an assisted living facility, look no more! Bring your love ones to Springtime Home and I promise you your love one will love it and so will you! In fact, I have already told my children that should I ever need to go into an assisted living facility, I want them to put me in this assisted living facility only. Mrs. Robb I want you to know that you have an amazing facility and amazing staff! God bless you for all that you are doing for the elderly!

Both my mother and sister lived at this beautiful ALF until their passing and I have referred several others to them. I visited almost everyday as I lived in the community. I chose this facility out of many because of the superior care, cleanliness, activities done by professional activity personals...

Both my mother and sister lived at this beautiful ALF until their passing and I have referred several others to them. I visited almost everyday as I lived in the community. I chose this facility out of many because of the superior care, cleanliness, activities done by professional activity personals that comes in and the staff. My aunt was fully ambulatory along with others. They have provided three cooked meals and snacks everyday. Had a good relationship with the other families and they have enjoyed the meals and care that their love ones receive. They are deficiency free according to the Office of Heath care quality. This is momentous for an ALF. This is a five star facility in my book and others.
