Very poor attitudes with staff, but that seems to be the norm for most businesses in Morehead, must be a Morehead thing.

I''d rather drive 1 hour to go to UK or just die, than go back here. The staff is friendly and compassionate enough, but the Drs are awful. Lost literally a week of sleep due to INTENSE jaw/mouth pain. I was hearing things, exhausted. An hour of waiting and the Dr comes in and prods, pokes, moves my jaw to tell me it''s very inflamed and dislocated. He said there is nothing he could do. I told him how bad it hurts, lack of sleep and had tears in my eyes bc i. Just. Want. Sleep. He shrugged and laughed like I was some druggie fishing for a pill? He didn''t even LOOK AT ME when he was talking. He looked at my husband. Like I wasn''t even there! Thank goodness my SO agreed how much of a waste it was and took me to Lexington where I got actual help. I despise this hospital and all the branches to it. Complete waste of time and every experience I have had with them was bad. The only thing they are good about, is handing you the bill for doing literally nothing. Edit: Husband went in with symptoms of a stroke and they did literally nothing. No tests. They said, you guessed it, follow up with current Drs! Well, he did, and they ordered all the tests but by then it was too late to detect signs of a stroke, but were thankful he regained the ability to speak and there was no permanent damage. They were disgusted with St Claire on how uncaring and incompetent they were for not even testing for signs of a stroke. They said it sounded like clears signs and they should have tested. We were told to go ANYWHERE but here next time anything like that happens. Pretty bad when other Drs warn you not to go to your local emergency room. So please be cautious if you must go here!

My elderly mother They have not managed pain but changed all her medicines until she was high on badly mixed drugs. Poor choices by man staff member over the years even still today! Go to any hospital but st claire. It''s a sad joke of doctors. Sure the nurses are nice but that won''t save a life.

Unfortunately my experience with this Hospital wasn''t pleasant . The security team at the front entrance was extremely rude " not all of them " basically 1 in particular whos name is Jonathan!.. He wears glasses , has tattoos on his arm and a shaved head. This gentlemen was rude to not only us on each visit but was rude to others . Rude to people who where sick or had family with in the hospital that was sick. He got so bad that me and my family had to park at the pavilion and walk over to the hospital to see our loved one the entire week they was there just to avoid this individual and his power trip , thinking he is a officer. He made it clear that what he says Goes ! With in the hospital. " power trip " Unfortunately nothing was ever done about him and the complaint made by us and other visitors fell on def ears . Human resources knew about him and didn''t mind one bit to be honest . You can''t call and make complaints because no one answers or returns your call . The doctors and nurses stick together and play guessing games with peoples life. They nearly costed my family member there life .. I thank God daily he watched over them and we got them out in time .. They are too quick to do surgeries and make claims and misdiagnosed patients. As they did with my family member which almost cost them there life. Which there still recovering from . Nurses " not all " but most where very rude . Rooms where rarely cleaned when we was there . The 5 day stay my family member received 1 meal and the rest of the time we bought and brought them food . I would not recommend this place and I will never have a family member of mine there again nor myself. I hope they get this place straight Because the security team and even certain nurses laughing , mocking and wanting to disrespect families won''t go far before lawsuits take place . No one should ever be scared to go to a hospital , no one should ever worry about being treated like this when going to a hospital .
