Altenheim is a beautiful facility dedicated to the long term care of our loved ones. The nursing staff is attentive and takes pride in giving our loved ones the respect and care they deserve. A true boutique and landmark in our community.
The facility is absolutely lovely! Staff are joyful and residents are delightful. It is a wonderful facility to reside in and/or visit anytime. I enjoyed every moment of my time there.
Truly an amazing facility. The staff are extremely kind and caring. They always put their guests needs first. I would highly recommend for anyone in search of an assisted living care facility.
The Altenheim was recently purchased by a company. It is no longer a not for profit organization Many changes are happening. I feel sorry for the residents and staff.
Our family had an in person tour and the tour experience was fantastic, the staff we met with spent a great deal of time with us walking around the community and answering all of our questions.
This is a really nice community. It is not real fancy like Sunrise but we liked that it felt unique and not corporate at all. The staff are very responsive to our questions, concerns, and requests. This is a really nice community. It is not real fancy like Sunrise but we liked that it felt unique and not corporate at all. The staff are very responsive to our questions, concerns, and requests. They were able to speak to the doctor and be able to allow my loved one a better wheelchair next day. There is a good variety of options for meals for the residents. It is not fancy, and it is more homecooked meals. The desserts are what my loved one really enjoys and they are good. They encourage the family to come to visit their loved ones. They even have apartments for the family to visit overnight with no charge. There is no charge to eat in the dining room with our loved one. The community looks out over the Mississippi Bluffs, and it is beautiful.
