Hires people like Kayley Hamilton who takes dogs from shelters, claiming she''s going to foster them or adopt them. Then says her mother won''t let her keep them and she hast to get rid of them. What happens to them after that? Some of them have been taken to other shelters where they were euthanized. She continues doing this year after year, Dog after Dog. So irresponsible. Makes me wonder how she is with vulnerable adults. Probably not very caring.

My mother was in rehab at Still Hopes a few years ago which greatly influenced our decision to choose their assisted living apartments when she could no longer stay in her home. She had a beautiful apartment, but that is about the only good thing I can say about the year she was there. The majority of the CNAs who work there were truly concerned with helping my mother as much as they could. That being said, it was a constant battle over what they were "allowed" to do. I was constantly being told "we''re not allowed to do that" or "you have to have orders for us to do that". I can understand the need to adhere to regulations but there was almost never any willingness to help resolve the issue. I was left with trying to find solutions that fit within their guidelines. Still Hopes has a sizable entry fee which we were told would mean that as her needs increased, they would have a place for her in the medical units. Mid-May my mom''s issues with some foot lesions worsened and I got a call that 1) she could no longer stay in assisted living 2) she had to move within 14 days 3) there was not a room for her at Still Hopes. This call was from the head of nursing whom I have found to be the lest helpful health care worker I have even dealt with. On more than one occasion I have either cut short a conversation with her or not answered her call because of her rudeness. I did pass along my complaints to management. The last I heard, this nurse was given a promotion. And that says tons about the corporate/management culture of Greenway at Still Hopes. I realize that there are a finite number of skilled nursing beds available and, perhaps it was unfortunate timing for my mom, but there was no offer of any help in trying to figure out a solution for my mother. All I heard were crickets. Additionally, the year my mother was there, she constantly complained about the food - no seasonings, small portions, lukewarm, etc. I know from emails I received from Still Hopes that they have a severe problem in food service staffing. So it seems the residents end up getting the bad end of that situation. In summary - please don''t waste thousands of dollars on this place. It is pretty, but you can find much better help elsewhere for a lot less money.

Worst staff in the retirement industry. I am disgusted by the way they treat their patients, and I will never recommend this place to anyone. THEY ARE DENYING MEDICALLY MANDATED CARE WHICH IS ILLEGAL! They are rude to the residents and honestly makes them want to die. It is sad and messed up. I would fire the entire staff and rehire if it were up to me. God bless the elderly, if you’re looking for a warm, safe place, go somewhere else.

Terrible communication provided from the nurse to patients family members. Some of the nurses/techs are rude and will not turn the patient if they are bedbound. I thought my family member would get amazing care and Physical therapy. The Physical therapist did basic leg exercises in the bed and would not work with the patient any further, which was a critical point to have aggressive PT. I really heard great reviews of this place, assumed my loved one would receive exceptional care, however they have failed. Please don''t send your loved one here, they will just regress and not make any progress.

A lovely campus...assisted living areas are beautiful, clean, and...GREAT, if you have unlimited funds. I paid for my mother to live here in assisted living for 7 years. All was fine until she needed more than mere supervised medication. Then she fell, and, although she didn''t break anything, she was unable to get to the toilet by herself. The "Assisted" Living staff put her flat in bed with a diaper for 5 days; she developed a UTI and pneumonia. She had to be hospitalized, and when she was discharged from the hospital, she lasted only a week in rehab before Still Hopes wanted to move her to skilled nursing (currently, $9,900/mo.). My brother and I were not adequately prepared for addressing our mother''s needs; Still Hopes'' last-minute discharge snafus and rush to get her gone was a sad end to what for years had been a nice place for our mother to live.
