I sent my father here 3 months ago. Not only did he pass away, he passed away in the most unforgivable, inhospitable circumstances. I was not allowed to see him but I talked to him daily and he absolutely hated the facility, the staff members and the owner. They did nothing to make him feel better. They locked him in his room like a felon. Kevin and Roberta are the absolute scum of the earth, inhuman, manipulative beings I have ever met in my entire life. They will squeeze every scent out of you and give the utmost minimal care to their “patients” as possible.

My father in law was here. It always smelled bad when you walked through the door. Residents were lined up in the hallway waiting to be told what to do next. My father in law hated it there. I finally moved him to a nicer facility closer to my home. His first night at the new place Roberta Henderson showed up in his room yelled at him and started to remove him saying he had to go back with her! I tried to stop her but she kept threatening me and him. She finally took him in the wheelchair and put him in her car and drove him back to SPEC!!! I was appalled! She then tried to accuse me of kidnapping him!!!!! She is only looking for money. If you love your “loved ones”. This is not the place for them!!! It’s depressing and dirty!!!

TERRIBLE FACILITY. My father was here for almost a week before I was able to come and visit him. Upon my arrival I was immediately overwhelmed by the lack of care, poor faculty conduct and outdated and depressing environment. I would not send my mother in law here! I am surprised the state allows this facility to conduct business at such low and disturbing levels. I reached out to the owner(s?) multiple times without any response. DO NOT GO HERE!

My father has been a resident for 5 years. The staff take wonderful care of the patients. They are attentive, kind and responsive. The facility is always clean. I appreciate the excellent communication and updates. It warms my heart that so many staff strive (CNA,s, activities, nurses, housekeeping, food service, reception, social services, admin, etc) to really get to know each resident. Having a family member in a facility is difficult but it is so reassuring to know my father is in good care.

Fantastic! This facility took in my dad with a complicated medical history when no other facility would. Don''t be fooled by the dated building. While it doesn''t look like the newer, "hotel style" facilities, the care was top notch. Previously, my dad was in a facility in Marlboro with all the so called bells and whistles. It was all smoke and mirrors. They provided horrible care, my dad looked unkempt, he had multiple falls and he spiraled down both mentally and physically. This all changed when he was in Sudbury Pines. He was bathed, shaved and dressed every day. He was well fed. He had no falls. The staff was very responsive to our concerns and requests. The facility does care for patients with a multitude of health problems, some very complex and seeing these high level patients might be off-putting for some. But the quality of care and compassion was evident every day. Our family remains very grateful to all the staff and Sudbury Pines.
