I would never put anybody in Summit Ridge Place. It's not nice. I was very disappointed in that place. It's not private pay yet. If they had an opening for private pay, then it would be a consideration. We could tell it wasn't super clean, and it wasn't very inviting. They didn&a...
I would never put anybody in Summit Ridge Place. It's not nice. I was very disappointed in that place. It's not private pay yet. If they had an opening for private pay, then it would be a consideration. We could tell it wasn't super clean, and it wasn't very inviting. They didn't even know we were coming, and I had an appointment. They still let us see it because we made the point of going. But, even the kitchen where they'd feed the people was not at all cheery or decorated or, just nothing that made you feel like you were important to be there for your family. We could tell there were black webs in the window of the people that just exited the place. There's furniture piled up. The person who showed us around was nice. The yard you would get to sit in had old, dirty furniture piled up in the corner.

Do not fall for the stock pictures. Place is old, dated and understaffed with training needed. Rooms are very small. Food choices are blah. Very expensive for what little services you get. Management needs to change. Depressing atmosphere and loved ones are vulnerable due to lack of staff knowledge. Security is an issue. Better places to look elsewhere.

No support from management, constant staff shortage and there is reason why a 19 bed facility in a area that senior living is in need have lots of openings. Look elsewhere as care here will be poor and expensive! Zero activities. What they pass off is very limited for activities. Too much turnover in staff and the staffing to resident ratio is alarming, especially at night.
