She felt she received a good workout each day she had therapy. She participated in the daily activities offered, which she enjoyed. I myself observed everyone being very friendly and helpful when I stopped to visit.

My grandmother''s death was exploited for COVID money by Sunnyview Nursing Home. I have been debating about reviewing on here, but I decided it was best before it was too far removed. My grandmother passed away in this facility at the height of COVID (late 2020) after battling many health problems. The morning she passed we received a call that she had a negative COVID test (they tested residents regularly). She passed away later that day, and my grandfather and another family member went to say their goodbyes a few hours later (having direct contact with her body). That was Friday. On Sunday, my grandfather received a call from the nursing home letting him know "actually she DID have COVID" (and that our mourning family now had to quarantine for a week since we had direct or near-direct contact with her body). Not only do we SUSPECT that they were lying, but in fact, our family knows the mortician that dealt with her body... he confirmed she DID NOT have COVID. It wasn''t and remains unattainable to do anything legally about it at this point, so all I can do is spread the word. This is likely not the only person this nursing home exploited for a quick paycheck from the government. There was EVIL decision-making at this facility. NEVER, EVER SEND YOUR ELDERLY RELATIVES TO SUNNYVIEW.

My uncle was admitted to the Alzheimer''s sunflower unit. The staff is amazing,they are so compassionate and caring with the residents. They all have made my uncles transition pleasant and easy for him. The activities aides are friendly and sociaizes alot with him. He has enjoyed the variety of foods that he receives. He enjoys talking with the housekeepers,as they do a good job cleaning his room. He enjoyed going to therapy,likes the friendly staff also. He enjoys seeing all the different nurses,from different shifts. He doesn''t always remember staffs names. But his face lights up when he recognizes their faces. That tells me he is happy,comfortable and content. Thank you sunnyview for the wonderful care!!

My sister has just been a resident for a week now and every one seems very nice. The facility is very clean and I was there at supper time and the meal looked very appealing and my sister said the food was tasty 😋!
