My grandmother was here for rehab and was neglected severely. She died as a result of an injury she sustained while a resident at Surrey Place. It''s been over a year now, but my heart is still broken. At the time she was in the facility, COVID precautions were in place and I wasn''t allowed to visit her at all. I called multiple times a day and was told almost every time that she was sleeping. When I did talk to her, she asked me to bring her peppermints and blankets because she was cold and the nurses were too busy to get her more blankets. Each week she was there, I dropped off her favorite snacks, hygiene items, and blankets. When she died, I received every single snack and blanket I had tried to give her - unopened and unused. It is so devastating to me that they couldn''t even be bothered to cover her with one of the multiple blankets she had or let her enjoy a peppermint (she was on a regular diet - there was no need to withhold food). I''ve waited to post this review because I didn''t want to share out of anger. I''m no longer angry - but I''m deeply hurt. The people who cared for my grandmother were complacent and dishonest. Please think twice before you trust this facility with someone you love.

I love Surrey Place! The Direct Care staff and Office staff are so helpful! They really enjoy they’re jobs and it shows!
Surrey place has been my 2nd home for the last 15 years. The people I work with and care for are my extended family. I am so thankful for the staff I work with and the residents I get to care for. I love Surrey Place and am blessed to be a part of this team!
