Is there someone I can actually talk to??? No one answers the 3rd floor nurse’s station. They pick it up and hang it up. Every time I go to the third floor to sign my father out, they are all on their phones or yapping to themselves. Why can’t they answer the phone?????????

The facility is very unorganized. They required a catheter be placed on my father even though he is cable of using a bed side urinal. Care for his catheter was horrible which resulted in a UTI, and ultimately an infection that required a 3 week stay in the ICU due to development of sepsis. Rehabilitation visits were short, they did not honor Power of Attorney documentation. There was no consultation with the family on anything. If your goal is for your family to rehabilitate, DO NOT utilize this facility.

Have a friend in here as of April 2022, trying to get her moved somewhere else, anywhere else. If you need help to walk to the bathroom they just put you in a daiper so they don’t have to assist. Been there a week and no therapy yet and the meeting to discuss a treatment plan isn’t for another week, so god knows when that will start. When the patient asked for a drink of water we waited forty minutes then I gave up and drove to the store to pick up bottled water. Both nurses and CNA’ s are surly with attitude they have no right to have. This place is ok if you want to dump someone here and forget about them.

I am reading these reviews with these complaints about the staff, care etc. Wondering if any of these people actually understand that Nursing Homes took a huge hit during the high point of Covid 19! Most of the staff resigned for higher paying jobs, travel nursing etc. Nursing homes were doing the best they could with the little staff they had. Yes some of those staff members may have been substandard but hey somebody is better than nobody! Instead of putting these buildings down try to look at it from the staff and management stand point! Even if they brought agency in; there is still a very real possibility of the same outcome. IJS
