The Addison looks beautiful on the outside but the inside is terrible…Tanya the ED there is very prejudice to the black women when I honestly think they take care of the residents the best. She doesn’t give them enough credit for the work they do but I am here to tell you ladies you all do a good job taking care of the residents also the food there is trash the residents in AL have better menu options. Hopefully the new company changes some things around starting with Tanya treating employees equally.I will be glad to meet the new HR to let them know the real and hopefully they’ll understand how employees feel and not brush things under the rug like Tanya.

The Addison of Pleasant Prairie looks like a nice, clean facility with a lot of activities available for the residents. The downfall for us is that it's just too big of a facility. The hallways are so long. There are so many rooms there and so many people. Other than that, it was nice. The people were friendly. They have a nice dining area and a nice area to sit outside with benches. The rooms were nice and of good size. They showed me a schedule of bingo, poker, dancing, music, and different things throughout the day or the week, so there were a lot of activities that people could attend. The staff was very friendly, helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Addison of Pleasant Prairie in the Memory Care unit. This is a nice facility. The move in process went pretty smoothly. There are times I feel that they are short staffed and only meet the bare minimum requirements for that. However, I will say the staff that they do have is wonderful and very nurturing and patient. For the most part, I would recommend The Addison of Pleasant Prairie to others.

Like if she fell. When it comes to care, communication, follow up and meals - that could be improved. The food is nominal and our loved one will not eat it.
