We chose Amberliegh for our parents because it felt like a safe option. The staff is always available and willing to help. We have seen recent negative changes in cleanliness and food choices. Often the meals are not edible. They are overcooked, filled with starchy sides and small in size. The level of cleanliness has deteriorated. There is a broken pipe in the ceiling of a hallway with water dripping into a large garage can. This has remained unrepaired for 4 weeks. It''s a shame because we really liked Amberliegh but we are increasingly becoming discouraged. We are hoping to see a positive change or we we have to find a new residence for our parents. This review does not reflect on the care for the staff. They are always friendly and attentive. This is a direct result of corporate neglect. So sad.

Very clean and cozy facility. The staff are very friendly and were eager to assist me with anything I needed. The rooms have nice floor plans and feel like a real home ♡
Management either is slow to respond or doesn''t respond at all to problems concerning the residents.

I like The Amberleigh the most because it's independent living apartments. If somebody needs some care, has surgery or something, and needs to have assisted living for a limited amount of time, they keep their apartment and they don't have to leave. I liked their setup because of the assisted living part of it. The other thing that I liked is it is close to me and the facilities. They were also pet-friendly. If I wanted to bring my dog, I could. They have a contract with caregivers and nursing people, so that should something happen to you while you're there in independent living, say you fall and you need someone to come and evaluate you who is not part of their regular staff, they have an independent contractor there onsite 24 hours. Their independent apartments are one- or two-bedrooms. Some have two baths. When one apartment gets empty, they are renovating the whole thing to make it more up-to-date. They're constantly being updated and so they're very nice. They have a small kitchen. It's located close to shopping centers, supermarkets, places for exercise, and public transportation. You can bring your own car and leave it parked there if you're still driving. Restaurants, churches, and all those things that I participate in are close by. I saw the dining area and their menu. I had a nice tour. I had a lot of questions answered. They had a lot of activities going on. When I was there in October, they were getting ready for Halloween and their fall festival. There were a lot of things going on. They had listings of those and signs around the lobby and near the dining room. The staff that I met was very friendly and very helpful. Everything looked very clean. As people vacate the apartments, they are updating them. I liked that they had a group that could help you with your move and how you wanted to situate in your new place. They had beautiful outdoor settings that just seemed pristine and nice and visible from all the rooms. It was very pleasant and it would fit into my budget.
