Do not bring your loved ones here. If I could give negative stars, I would. My Dad was here and from the first day he arrived, there was no communication with the family. They basically just stuck him in a room and it was left up to us to hunt the staff down to find out what the care plan was going to be. My Dad was there 2.5- 3 weeks, and no one looked at the wound on his leg that they did trying to get him in the wheelchair or gave him any medical attention at all. Never got a shower or a bath the entire time! They would bring him food, but no one documented what he was eating or IF he was eating. After repeated attempts to tell them he''s not eating and that maybe he should have a nutrition bag, or asking if anyone is checking his labs, it fell on deaf ears. Until the case manager from medicare called me and I told her what was going on. The next morning they were in his room doing labs and within a few hours they called to tell me he needed to go back to the hospital because his levels were critical. My Dad was not in very good shape when he got there, but the Belmont did nothing but make it worse by the neglect and lack of concern and observation on their part. I could go on and on about the horrible experience we had. I can''t even believe it is legal for them to operate like this, much less get paid by insurance. I am filing a complaint to the state in hopes of saving other families from the hardship.

Update: My dad ended up on hospice three days after I removed him from this place. He never bounced back and passed away yesterday. I implore you to keep your loved ones away from this terrible place. If I could give 0 Stars I would. The nursing staff is terrible. The Charge nurse was dismissive, unwelcoming, refused to make eye contact with me and just brushed me off. The rooms were hot, 77 degrees, my 10 month old grand baby picked up a pill that was on the floor by the bed, the sheets had not been changed in 4 days, my poor dad looked dirty, he was in nothing but a diaper when I arrived from out of town at 12:30 on the afternoon, there were no wash clothes or anything to wash his face. One nurse couldn’t hide the way she felt about my dad, which wasn’t good, by her face speaking so loudly. She was kind as could be to my grand baby. She’s there to be kind and gentle and treat patients with dignity on top of her more professional duties. I was sickened by the lack of care given. A week ago my dad was taken to the ER from this facility because my dad was left unattended for hours while propped in a wheelchair and he fell asleep and fell out of the chair face first. I’d like to know what kind of humans feel that this treatment to the elderly is okay?!? This facility needs to be shutdown!!

My mother was a patient in March’24 and this facility is horrible. Don’t be deceive because it’s a beautiful facility, but they are understaffed and much if their staff is lazy or oversigked and fatigued. My mother was there for two weeks and went without being showered for a WEEK. If it wasn’t for our caregivers my mother would have been so neglected. Many times at night I would hear a faint voice saying somebody bring me some water. The staff were hard to find at night. The staff would argue pass midnight. E changed my mother’s sheet every morning otherwise it would be around two before sheets would be changed. I had to ask the janitor to clean the commodes and mop the floors. This facility has deteriorated since we were here before in January ‘24. It’s obvious there are internal issue, but I would not bring a human to this facility. On the weekends they serve terrible food. I’d like to recognize nurse Richard from night shift who always strived to excellent patient care. Hopefully the will return to excellent patient care, but for now this facility is FILTHY and I’d advise don’t be fooled, stay away.

My mom''s currently there and the issues that we''ve been having within 24 hours of her arrival are ridiculous! The staff did serve her dinner last night, but came right back in before she even had the opportunity to eat and took her tray away. So, my mother went to bed without getting her to eat her meal. They''ve had it dreadfully hot in her room and haven''t even even had her ice machine up and running after her surgery. So she''s stuck in there waiting on staff to bring her ice for her swelling. No one''s taken out her catheter and now, she''s coughing and wheezing, was told she''d have an x-ray done. But it never happened. And guess what? There''s no supervisor there until the weekend. You think we might have a problem with that???

I''ve been made to feel like less than human by the staff at Belmont. The doctors do not update my family. The staff doesn''t act like they care and they''re disrespectful. I know it''s a tough job, but I shouldn''t be made to feel like I don''t deserve to get better. I feel like they gave up on me the second I came through the door. If you have another choice, please don''t send your family here.
