I'm in The Blakely Echo Lake. I just got here this month. The place is in very good condition. It seems to be well-run, clean, and has lots of facilities for people. There are common rooms, TV rooms, and things like that. It's in good shape, and it's a good place. I have seen a few others, but this is definitely top-tier. This is for 55+ and for low income, so I think the fact that it's serving that population is exceptionally good. It's been very positive. It's independent living, so there's no meal service; it's not applicable here. They have a lot of things going on though. They have a newsletter where they put out things, like what, where, and when. I think it's to keep people busy. I've seen the bus that they use for field trips, so I think they're really well-equipped. The value for money is excellent. This place is such a better deal for me. Part of my issue is I have more than one car, and this place has room for me to have a second car. A lot of the other places had no parking, so I found this to be better that way.
