My loved one is currently a resident at The Georgian Lakeside and things have been very good for her here at this facility. The cleanliness and quality of care are both very good. The friendliness is great. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.
It's pretty clean. The people are friendly. We picked this community, becasue the food was good, and it was convient. It would be nice if the staff was more responsive. The billing process/accuracy of charges needs to improve.
I'm struggling with the communication with them. I like the community, but I think I've been over sold and I'm having a hard time with them and communicating to me. Nothing major, but it seems to be one thing after another. All is ok!! I'm happy overall. I feel safe with my loved one's care and ...

Nothing major, but it seems to be one thing after another. All is ok!! I'm happy overall. I feel safe with my loved one's care and I really like the caregivers! They know his personality and work with him! However, it takes a loved one/family member to stay on top of the community administration and management if you want issues resolved. Micromanagement is a must.

I feel like the advantages Georgian Lakeside has aren't of any benefit to him. I'm paying so much but could have had this kind of care for less money. I have nothing negative to report.

The leadership team at this facility was perhaps the most insensitive, group of individuals I have ever had the unfortunate experience to deal with - in a place that should be all about care and compassion. It started with executive director and moved down to her senior leadership team who ultimately did not care about my mom or what she was going through physically. They never once reached out to us after she passed to give us their condolences. From the standpoint of compassion or sensitivity, I would encourage any family to look elsewhere as this group does not have any of that.
