My mother-in-law has been at the Madison Avenue House for 9 years. We have found staff to be cooperative, flexible and very caring. They also work very well with her primary care physician. The staff reach out to us when they are concerned so that we can all come up with a plan for her well-being. We do not worry when we are away from the area as we know she is in caring hands. We are grateful that she is at the Madison Avenue House.

We love Bainbridge Senior Living''s Madison House for our mother. We/She adore the caregivers - including their recent new-hires, new front desk staff, and other care team members. They are all so sweet, kind, welcoming and thoughtful too. The med-techs and caregivers are always working hard at keeping our mom''s place clean, sanitary and cheerful. (Their hiring team has a gift for finding quality, hard working employees that we could not be more grateful for.) Our mom has been a resident for almost 10 years now - here is what she loves.... the food (great variety, holiday meal events, and restaurant quality food), the staff (Activities Dirs, Chefs, Nurse and aforementioned med/care staff), and their clean and updated facilities. It is kept up beautifully. They have fun activities and events as well - quite the full calendar! Thank you for being on top of making sure Madison House continues to be a wonderful place for your residents. We really are at ease with the attention and care that she receives there. ~Mike and Erika

My son worked as a server at Madison House for a couple of years, notably through the pandemic. It was his first job, and something we were glad to have had him do. He worked two or three days each week for between four and eight hours per shift, through the pandemic, and it was something that go him out of the house and dealing with people who were much older than himself. It was a good work experience for him. They were flexible on his shifts and treated him respectfully. We also came away impressed with Madison House''s attention to the health and safety of residents. They asked him to test frequently, and for the one or two cases that came up while he was working there, they really responded immediately and made sure the residents did not eat together.

My parents never wanted to leave their own home, but it became increasingly obvious that they weren't able to take care of themselves after my father had a stroke. I toured Madison House and liked what I saw. After my parents moved in, I was even more impressed. My mother never had to cook again. She could make tea in the apartment, and there was always fresh fruit, but three meals a day were graciously served in the dining room. I cannot sing the praises of the staff as loudly as I would like. Everyone, from the top down, is caring and ethical. My father passed away in hospice, at the age of 91. But my mother passed away in Madison House just ten days short of her 99th birthday, lovingly cared for by the staff in her last days. I was deeply moved by the reverence with which my mother was kept comfortable, and grateful for the advice and support offered to me...

Both my parents have lived at Madison House for nearly 4 years. Throughout the pandemic the director of the facility and the president/CEO of Bainbridge Senior Living have done an excellent job communicating and keeping us informed of current safety protocols, ways to help us connect with our loved ones, and sharing pictures of their weekly activities. The staff offer a range of activities, events and outings to help residents stay active and enriched. Prior to the pandemic my young children would join their grandma and the other residents for BINGO. My dad enjoys going to the mens group meeting to share stories and talk about current events. My father is now in his nineties with limited mobility and my mother has a number of health issues. As their health has declined in the past year the staff have been very helpful in providing additional physical and emotional support. I so am grateful for the staff at Madison House and thankful my parents are surrounded by staff that are engaged and supportive.

I had the opportunity to spend a few days at Madison House as a volunteer health care provider to help immunize residents against COVID-19. It's not possible to overstate the ways in which I was positively impacted by this experiences. To a one, the staff members were kind, respectful, and joyful with the residents. Every single staff member with whom I worked was professional, skilled, and caring. They know all the residents well, including individual preferences and backgrounds - and took the time that was needed to make sure each and every resident was comfortable and knowledgeable about the vaccine injections. The operational aspects of the vaccine initiative were equally impressive, and I noticed that the leadership, right up to the CEO, was hands on, with really amazing attention to detail...including on a Saturday afternoon and a Friday morning. And I was able to see the same level of care and professionalism in four separate sites/buildings. I know that if anyone in my family (including myself!) needs this type of residential environment and care, Bainbridge Senior Living is #1 on the list for us.
