The Manor Healthcare Residence

Have loved one in this facility. Nursing staff won''t pick up after themselves. Especially changing a catheter . Instead of disposing of the used equipment. They just leave it on the floor.

I am the current Director of Nursing Services at The Manor. I have been a nurse primarily in geriatrics for twenty four years. I came to The Manor in October 2020. My first impression of the facility and the staff was that they truly care about the residents and each other as if they were all family. The facility is clean and any supplies needed are readily obtained. COVID has made many things challenging for LTC communities, this includes staffing, visitation and activities for residents. Each day we strive to provide patient centered care (as each persons needs are different) with caring and compassion. Some days we succeed, some days we do not succeed and some days we land in the middle. The great thing about the team at The Manor is we continue to try, learn and grow to better serve our residents and community.
