We went to The Mohawk Estate. It was a good experience. The rooms were OK. I saw the dining area, but I didn't check the food or anything or look at the menu. The dining area was very clean. I just looked at it from afar, but it appears they had a backyard and it looked well-kept. The staff was very friendly, and very nice, made the tour accessible, and very professional. She did a great job. They had a ratio of 1 to 10, one staff member to 10 residents and their activity program wasn't something I would want for my mom.

We scheduled a tour through Caring.com. The worker who answered said she didn't know anything about it and acted annoyed. She handed us a post it pad to write our name and number on to call us later. She offered nothing more. We didn't get to even see the facility. She stated she doesn't know why we scheduled - they have no rooms available. We traveled 40 minutes to see this facility and got NOTHING but a terrible attitude.

I visit a relative on Mother's day weekend at this facility. This facility should be shut down by the Department of Aging and the Department of Health. The staff are not certify to care for the residents. The facility smells very bad, There are roach's, ants. The meals are frozen or ready meals with is not essential nutrition for the elderly. There is human feces in the bathrooms on the floor. The ventilation systems need some attention. There are zero activities for the residents. The rooms are dirty and smells. I'm not a current/former employee, vendor, business partner, or otherwise professionally connected to this business. I'm a very concern relative. Please do not allow your loved ones to take up residents in this facility. Thanks! Citizen of the United States of America

I was able to see The Mohawk Estate. It's a very nice place but not as nice as the other place I toured. The staff who assisted me during the tour was a very nice woman and answered all our questions. We saw their sitting area, and kitchen, and were able able to see the rooms. They also mentioned that they have activities, but we didn't see any at the time.

This facility is exceptionall! The staff works VERY close with us to ensure mom's care needs are handled. She wasn't very active, and veryy reluctant to transition into a facility. Now she's become a social butterfly! The place is beautiful, bright and ALWAYS CLEAN! Activities are always coordinated for Mom. The Nurses and therapist are very sweet. After 2 years, I'm happy to say we've made the right choice!
