In todays time it’s rare to find motivated staff anywhere, employees are tired of working, and staffing can be a challenge but here the teamwork I see in this the facility is always encouraging. I have seen the interaction between staff and residents and it’s a beautiful feeling knowing the residents feel at home surrounded with the same caring compassion they would have in their outside homes. I have never been ignored or left waiting for assistance, the receptionist is always professional and very welcoming, the Covid screening is quick and effective for keeping staff and residents safe. The facility is spacious and very well maintained, as a Veteran I’d say it is white glove approved. The management cares about their employees and their residents! From what I have experienced the entire team is dedicated to the care of their residents. I would trust The Rio with family and friends looking for placement suggestions.

I used to be employed here as a housekeeper and I started last year around the month of August and I ended up leaving in November due to the fact that my mother was on life support because she caught COVID. Working here I did experience a lot of pros and cons but let me just say this. . . . . I would rather starve than to get rehired at this facility! The reason why I left was because I was fired due to my mom being sick and unfortunately she passed away in the month of November. Not only did I lose my job (my position was taken away from me) but I left there with a $300 check and no emotional support! That really hurt me to my heart and I don''t wish this feeling upon anyone. I have always worked hard as a housekeeper and for me to be fired because I have to take a plane to Atlanta to be with my mom, not only was that disrespectful towards me but to her as well. No one should have to take that! I literally felt hurt and that a lot more could have been done but everything happens for a reason I suppose. Not only was I blessed with a great job, but it definitely pays a lot more where I am right now and now I''m completely satisfied with it. I am treated with respect and dignity where I currently work at now versus being at the Rio and being disrespected by the housekeeping supervisor when this took place. I''m not going to write a paragraph but I just wanted to point this out because I literally took this personal and I was highly upset when this was done to me! All I can tell you is if you''re thinking about applying here, please think carefully before you fill out an application here! I can go into details all day but like I said I definitely wanted to point this out because when it comes to my family, I do not play! Whatever happened to treating your employees with respect and dignity???? We were more than just numbers in the system, we are people, we go through situations, and we have feelings! You should really BE ASHAMED! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔

Awesome facility and staff they really care about the patients there. I could not be more satisfied with the care that my dad received while he was at the facility. From top to bottom everyone was very helpful and always went out of their way to make sure that any concerns were address immediately. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to my family and friends if they should ever need care for their loved ones.
