My mother lived at The Summit, in Independent Living, for her last 7 years. She loved it there! She was a very social person, and the environment created there was perfect for her. Scott Thomas (activity director) always had various events planned for the residents to participate in. From concerts, to shopping, to various “field trips” - there was always something for everyone. My mother developed a wonderful new “friend network” while at The Summit. She had a beautiful apartment and often entertained her neighbors in it. She also met with friends in the pub for happy hours. Again, Scott Thomas was instrumental in making sure things were set up and ready for the residents when they came to the pub - and always greeted them with a smile on his face. Thank you, Scott!!!
